What is Command Line Interface (CLI)  - SSTTEK Academy

Command Line Interface (CLI)

The Command Line Interface (CLI), or in Turkish, the “komut satırı arayüzü,” is a program that allows users to communicate with computers through text commands.

In the CLI, users execute computer programs, manage files, configure system settings, and perform other operations by typing commands into a command line on the screen.

Although CLIs are less commonly used than user-friendly graphical interfaces (GUIs), they are still preferred in some situations.
